Home Grown Sport : Are you in or are you out?

'Homegrown Sports' celebrates Stockport's local heroes and forgotten sporting legends, whilst examining what sport is and what it means to the borough's young people today. The Council has developed the exhibition in association with Youth Culture Stockport and Our Sporting Life.

The exhibition explores the themes: what is sport, team spirit and the impact of media and money on sport.

During August a local sports club will be onsite every Saturday 1:30 - 3:30pm at the Hat Works to deliver taster sessions, everyone's welcome so come along and join in!
