Our Sporting Life - Northumberland - Choose your team

Working with Cramlington Youth Service and Blyth Spartans Football Club we will explore the rich history of football and other sports in South East Northumberland and their significance to people growing up and living in the area today.

Northumberland Archives contain a number of interesting records; The young people will spend time exploring the archives at Woodhorn and Blyth Spartans as well as creating new oral history material. The young people will be given free reign to follow the stories that they have most interesting and will manage and deliver the project themselves.
